Hi, I’m Julie Kim — a product designer based in Seattle, WA.

My design approach blends systems thinking with strong visual craft. I care about clarity, usability, and making sure every detail supports a meaningful experience. I thrive in collaborative environments where design can drive product direction — from vision to execution.

I began my career in architecture, where I developed a deep appreciation for systems, structure, and how people move through space. That foundation shaped my transition into product design — where I now apply those same principles to digital experiences.

Recently, I worked at Microsoft, designing cloud experiences and supporting teams in building AI responsibly. I have extensive experience designing complex, enterprise-grade products, while also taking on freelance projects focused on branding and visual design.

Outside of work, you’ll often find me running, spending time with my dogs, or exploring local coffee shops and restaurants.
