• Introduced a default payment selection, which could later adapt to the user’s most frequently used method.

Next steps

• Implement Luhn validation for card inputs to instantly detect errors and validate card type.
• Refine primary button microcopy to match the selected payment method (e.g., “Pay with PayPal”).
• Enable auto-detection for specific fields (e.g., detect country or state based on phone number).
• Improve inline validation feedback by distinguishing between incomplete and incorrect inputs (e.g., “Card number incomplete” vs. “Invalid card number”).
